This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Just had to rant. It could be here tomorrow. Depending how accurate shipping time/data is. Then my xtra 2GB of RAM may be here Friday. I am the eternal optimist.

    Nice to hear from another (future) 630 owner. If the computer comes tomorrow and the memory on Friday, there may be enough time between the stock 1GB (?) configuration and the +2GB to see if there really is a difference. Report back if you don't mind.

    Apology accepted ! I was actually trying to accomplish something in a backhanded way, as well as just voice my desire. I wanted to flush out some other D630 owners here as i sometimes feel there are not that many or that we get lost in the m1330/Vostro shuffle :)

    Will be happy to do the memory test. I am curious myself.
