    Does anyone here manage their own fan speed settings via the I8 program?

    If so, would you share how you have your settings? i.e. when it kicks on and off...

    On another note: I got one of those Targus Chill Pads and it doesn't seem to help much either...

    I don't know what those targus chillpads look like.

    If you're going to buy one of those alluminum boards with fans on it, then it should have fans that match up with the ones you already have, plus one on the ram.

    that would seem to be optimal.
