This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Media Buttons work in Winamp

    Not sure if this justifies its own thread but I thought I'd share it. If you download this plug-in from the winamp-site, start the .exe letting it install, and restart Winamp, the media-buttons should work. It also works for my Vostro 1400 and therefore should work for all Vostros.

    Actually I didn't download a plugin at all. All I did was to fiddle with the hotkeys is actually good enough. You just need to press the forward, previous, stop and play buttons for each shortcut then just set as hotkey. Works for my Inspiron 1720.
