    Media Direct Problem

    Yesterday my media direct was working fine,this morning i updated some microsoft critical updates and went to use media direct and it showed the media direct screen for about 5 seconds and then went to a black screen that gave me 2 options,boot to boot menu or start normal in windows so when i hit go to windows the media direct button light stays on and the power button is not lit,i tried downloading the repair download on dell and still the same what can i do.Did the microsoft updates do something that im not aware of and is it fixable. thanks
