This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    That is a video of Media Direct in action. I'm sorry if this has been posted before but a quick search on the forum just showed a few threads about deleting/reinstalling MD.

    I was curious and did a bit of googling and that video pretty much shows all. I reckon it will be a handy feature, especially if you just want to watch a DVD or play some music.

    I can't tell from that video what input device is being used, perhaps the remote if thats shipped, if not its probably just the keyboard.

    In theory it's a good idea, but the battery improvements they kept bragging about aren't entirely true.
