Don't know where to turn on this one, so maybe someone here has a suggestion?
    Here's the issue.
When I try to play a dvd with wmp11, even with autoplay set to play dvd's from wmp, Media Direct pre-empts everything and plays the dvd.
    Any help?
    :err:

few quick question off the topic

    1. did you got the media direct on the 3G MD pattition instead of 2G?
    2. on your new m1330, what is the battery health? i got mine 9% wear as new, and life time is around 2 hours.

basic uninstall of MD from control panel/add/remove-now get an error sayin the partition is missing, maybe 1330's are different. thx for trying.

I'm media direct 3.3 on a 1520, they are different, i tried using the m1330 MD disc before, and always got a : "not supported on this machine" error when trying to use the MD disc for the m1330

This is a really annoying problem for me as well. I was using my Vostro 1400 to play a DVD in a class I was teaching the other day, and Media Direct came up even when I chose to use WMP11. I thought ok, no problem. I'll just use this. Then I closed the lid of my PC to save some battery while it player over a projector, and the image disappeared from the projector as well. Very inconvenient. I ended up using VLC, but would prefer if WMP11 would work without having to completely remove the MD partition (I'd still like to use it when the PC is powered off completely).
