I have a problem and the Dell tech didn't have a solution. Maybe one of you guys does:
On my M1530 I can push the Media Direct button when the laptop is powered down and it brings up Media Direct. But when I choose it from the Vista launch menu nothing happens. (I have updated all drivers and software with the latest from after March 5th.)
Anybody having an idea regarding this?

    Thank you

Have you tried uninstalling it from within Vista and then reinstalling using the CD - DellKit should autorun. You can then update if you find it's working now.

    Devastator,

how would you do it? There is no software package that you could un-install and re-install. :-(

In Windows there is, unless you've never installed it in the first place.

If you can't find it in Add/Remove then I'd install it.
    Restart
    Uninstall it
    Restart
Reinstall and see if that fixes it.
