I'm sorry, but I didn't see info on this in the main MediaDirect thread. It may be so common, no one mentions it, but here goes anyway. Can I create the bootable MediaDirect cd with the software on my E1505 and not have to purchase Nero, or Roxio? I don't know much about ISO files, or how to use them, the utility itself says to simply double click the file and it'll open the burning program, but that doesn't work for me. I have Sonic installed... will this do the trick? If so, how?

Thanks guys. I've finally got my system to what I think (Lord, please let it be) is a stable state again. And you guys have been a huge help in that.

    You can try ISO Recorder

Just be sure you pick the correct version for your OS. In your case you'll probably want/need V2

Pretty simple to use... just right-click the xxx.iso file and you'll have a 'Create CD' Option

    hth
