So I want to use Media Direct to watch Xvids and Divx movies (this is the standalone parition not the in windows app) and I have installed FFDSHOW in the MD partition.

When booting to that partition I can open Media Player and have it play the videos just fine, but within the media direct app the videos only play sound (and take a long time to load).

Obviously the codecs are installed correctly as MP can show them... so I am wondering, has anyone gotten Xvids/Divx to work in MD?

Just want to know if I am barking up the wrong tree...

    Thanks!

    Bump....

Or any codec? Just trying to see if MD player pulls codecs or if I need to not bother trying to make that work...
