When i resume playing a dvd i had watched earlier, the voices sound like chipmunks, like as if it is being played faster than normal. I've tried pausing, going back, going forward but the only thing that works is restarting the CD. This is a waste of a feature such as resume on playback.

also, by resume i meant resuming after i had turned the computer off. not when i just paused the playback. when starting up media player, there is an option for resume and another for playing from the beginning.
