I reformatted my Dell Inspiron E1705 and everything is working great although I had to work for hours to get my v270 bluetooth mouse to work. So here is my problem, when I am in MediaCenter my resolution is at 720 x 480 and when I set it to my desired resolution (1440 x 900), inside MediaCenter Display configuration, the resolution remains at 720 x 480. I have a 256MB NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 for which I have the drivers installed. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I read on another forum that you can change Media Center's resolution by editing the registry. I don't remember what forum I saw it on or what must be edited. Has anyone else heard of this?

I finally got it to work. :D
For anyone else who has this problem these are steps for fixing it:
    1. Start>Run>regedit
    2. navigate to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Media Center\Settings\MCE.PerUserSettings]
    3. change "optimizeFor"="Television" to "optimizeFor"="ComputerMonitor"

Below is the source forum that I found the solution to the problem.
