This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     MediaDirect 3.3 - Problem Shutting Down

    I have MediaDirect 3.3 installed on my Dell laptop.

    While it works mostly OK, I have an issue: If I start MediaDirect using the "MediaDirect" button on the keyboard (when the system is powered off), I can use MediaDirect fine - until I need to exit. When I select "Exit" from the MediaDirect Express GUI, the system starts to shut down, but then locks up. I have to hold the power button down for a few seconds to get the system to shut down.

    Any ideas on how to fix this?
