I figured out why every time I reformatted my harddrive, after a while, MedaiDirect would fail to access the harddrive. I always assumed C:\Dell was just for temporary installation files. WRONG! It holds the information MediaDirect uses to run outside of Windows. That's why when it failed seemed so inconsistent to me. I was deleting it at inconsistent times.

    I've wasted so much time.

Tell me, other people who were having this problem, were you deleting that folder?
