Hi all,
I am having a trouble intalling MediaDirect on my new hard drive. When intalling it hangs at 10% then quits. I read all the guides but I still don't know what I'm doing wrong. I used PartitionMagic to configure my HD to the following (according to PM):
C: NTFS 55GB
* Extended. 22GB
D: NTFS 19.7GB
* Unallocated 1.6GB
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

I just did the same recently with my new 7200rpm drive. I used the Windows XP disc to make one C: partition and installed windows. Then, I used Windows disk manager to make a D: partition leaving 1.5GB of unallocated space. Afterwards, I installed Media direct without any problems. However, when I made a C: and D: partition before installing windows, the media direct install didn't work. I had to make the d: partition in Windows Disk Manager in order for media direct to install.

Forget mediadirect. It's cool to be able to watch a dvd instantly, but it isn't worth all the trouble you're going through. AND it takes up 2 gigs of space on your new hd.
MediaDirect Installation hangs at 10%
