    Hi,

I am having problems with the mediadirect. When I press the mediadirect button, it launches Windows Media center. I notice that Dell's web site said this is normal. Is this correct?

Secondly, when i press MediaDirect button when the machine is turned off, it boots into media direct but I cannot access any of the pictures. I suspect that it is because there are multiple user accounts on the machine and all are passworded. Is there a way to fix this issue. Most of the other post seems to be able how to install mediadirect. I already have mediadirect and would like to know how to login and see the pictures and movie when I start from a off state?

Apparently, when you press the Mediadirect button when the computer is off or suspended, it launches Mediadirect Express. Express unlike the regular Mediadirect doesn't have permission to your private directories. Unless you make your user directory public, Mediadirect will not be able to see it.

I thought it was suspicious when I launched Mediadirect and it did not prompt me to login!
