    MediaDirect installation

    I need to re-install MediaDirect in order to get my DVDs to play, the DVD decoder was somehow uninstalled. However, when i put the CD in my M1210 tells me that MediaDirect is already installed. How can i remove MediaDirect without affecting my entire comp? I have tried to boot from the CD but it wants to completely erase my HDD. I DO NOT want to do that again if i can help it.

    explore the media direct dvd look for a folder called i think windows md3 run setup inside that folder it will reinstall or repair a installation of the windows version of media direct
