    Hi;

    I currently replaced the motherboard of my inspiron 6400 because of a network problem. After returning it, I noticed once I press the mediadirect button while in windows nothing happens! And when I press the button while the computer is off, the mediadirect logo would show for a couple of seconds then boot to windows. I have windows vista installed. Is there anyway to repair this rather than formatting everything and partitioning mediadirect from the beginning? thanks

    I have not tried this but I think there is a way to uninstall MD from windows and then format the MD partition and then to reinstall it. I would call Dell telling them whatever they did screwed up the laptop's MD features. If I confirm my method as working, then I will definatly create a tutorial and link it.
