They are running a $540 off special on XPS systems this weekend. I tried applying a coupon code also but it does not look like it is taking (no message but it never adjusts the price).

    Should it?

Does it already have t he $599 off? I don't think they combine. They will do the greater one.

mattocs: I thought they just keep the one entered most recently. The coupons are not stackable, though.

I have a student discount, and they're not applying it when I exceed a certain price. I dunno if it's because I'm taking advantage of the Memorial Day sales?

It has $540 off automatically. Has anyone had any luck trying to push the issue with them - i.e. ordering through a rep and requesting that they apply both?

Try on the phone. You may able to get more off. Can you get an EPP discount? They let me combine that with whatever the best deal was at the time (40% off)

lucky US with memorial day. We don't get many major discounts over here in the UK. Oh well, tough luck to us.
May as well choose the biggest discount then.

You have to choose memorial discount OR the 25% off. You can't combine both. I find it funny how they are including a lot of T9500s in their deals since most people are getting the T9300s. lol.

Definitely not my imagination here... They had the whole deal changed up this morning. The base price of the XPS 1520 was a couple hundred cheaper and the deal was only about 250 off rather than the 540 off.

Came home tonight and it's back to the same old price with the 540 off deal.
