    Memory Bank Dimm A Dimm B

    Wondering when upgrading the Memory bank doe sit matter what Dimm Bank i have what number in like if i have one 4 gig and one 2 gig

    does the 2 gig need to go in Bank 2 and the larger 4 gig go in bank 1 or does it not matter ?

    In some very old laptops you might have typically had to populate DIMM A first, but now it should not matter at all.

    ok cool thanks so if i have 4 gig in Dimm B and 2 gigs in Dimm A its fine it does not have to have the larger 4 gig in Dimm A i only ask cause i just replaced it and i think i messed up and put it Small to High and not high to small
