I am wondering if this 1 gb memory will work on my E1505:

I am aware newegg sell ram cheaper but I recently order other computer accessories online and would like to pay for this in cash instead. I am also wondering if PNY is a reputable company, if not then I will wait till next month and order from newegg instead. Any reccommended ram from neweeg that I should look into?

Yes it will work fine. You may need to remove a module of RAM from the notebook to install this one, as your notebook may have both slots occupied.

On a similar note, I have a 6400 just now, it has 2x512mb 667mhz ram, if i bought a 1gig, would it have to be the same speed?

Not necessarily. You should be able to use both PC4200 (533 Mhz) and PC5400/PC5300 (667 MHz) RAM on the notebook. There is practically no difference in performance between the two, so I would advise to go for which ever is the cheaper.
