If Num lock/ Caps lock indicators are blinking, then that means memory is not properly installed. As nizzy1115 said, take it out and reinsert again. What type of memory did you buy ?

If you are 100% sure you have setted the memory right try one stick at a time. One time I had to replace a memory because Newegg have sent in the bad one.

I purchased the same memory sticks for 1 of my M1530's,and had a similar experience. Make sure they are seated as far into the slot as they will go before snapping them into place. Good Luck with your M1530.
