    Some Merom equipped notebooks that were ordered on the launch date have already shipped. I think most people that ordered on the launch date had target ship dates of 9/11, 9/12 or 9/13. Some shipped as early as 9/10.

    With the exception of a review copy here or there, the only C2D Dell's I've heard people have are those where people have popped the old Core Duo CPU.

    but...has it actually shipped and you recieved a tracking number? if not, then expect Dell to change the ship date tomorrow morning...

    I ordered my E1705 with a T7200 on August 31... Dell gave me a tracking number yesterday... scheduled delivery date is tomorrow. UPS already has the package in their hands, they even called me to tell me to stay home tomorrow lol.

    Mine is likely going to ship sometime at the end of september. I placed my order for my C2D at the beginning of the month :( . Kinda ridiculous, but it seems like Canada is getting shafted when it comes to shipments of C2D's. The customer rep quoted me a 5 day backorder for the chips.

    My C2D M1210 will be here tomorrow. It's currently less than 100 mi from my house at a UPS center. I ordered it the day after it came out on the site from my dell channel sales rep. Supposedly higher priority than the web orders but looks like it'll be in line with them this time.

    it would be nice if HP finished updating the business notebooks on their educational website... :(...can't even order the darn thing because they're taking their sweet time! and c2d has been out for about two weeks!
