This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     MicroSD card slot dead... Inspiron 6000..

    Well.. yesterday morning it was working fine..

    I formatted the card and poof.. the slot no longer works..

    I can pull info from the card via USB through a camera, etc.. Also, when I put the SD card into the computer, device manager finds it, but there is a yellow triangle with an exclamation point.. I've uninstalled the unit, rebooted, etc..

    Anyone know what I might be able to do?
