    Microphone Not Detected

    I formatted my XPS 1530 and for some reason the internal mic is not detected at all. Everything else works fine except for the mic, and I can't find any drivers for the mic so I have no idea what is wrong. Anyone know how to fix this issue?

    The drivers for the microphone are part of the Sigmatel Audio driver package. If the webcam works then the connection is probably fine as they use the same cable.
