I have the XPS 1530. While I am chatting using the yahoo messenger or any chat software. I get feedback on the chat (i.e. I hear my own voice echo on the system) when I use the laptop speakers. Can somebody please help me and let me know how I can avoid the feedback of my own voice on the system.

I honestly hate to jump in on your thread, since I really have no experience with the XPS thus far. I just wanted to know if there is a microphone slot on the front of the XPS. (I think it's the pink one?) Thanks.

I hope you can solve your feedback issues. :)
