    Microphone problems

    When i plug in my microphone, in vista it comes up with what inputs to select.. i select "Microphone". Then after about 5 mins, SigmaTel Audio seems to change it to "Line In" so my mic doesnt work, any suggestions?

    Go to the control panel>sound>Recording, and make sure your microphone has a green check.
