Hi guys, the title is pretty self explanatory but just to elaborate a bit: I have my eye on this http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mouseandkeyboard/ProductDetails.aspx?pid=080&active_tab=overview

I have found the keyboard on its own for a bargain price, however it does not come with the USB bluetooth adaptor, just the keyboard on its own.

My question is will the keyboard (and the mouse if I ever buy it seperately) work with my Studio 15's built in bluetooth?

I have googled for ages on this but can't get a definitive answer. There have been mentions of 'no' some people say yes but you have to change the bluetooth stack e.t.c.

Could any one shed any light on this?

    Thanks for the help,

    Magi

PS Less important question: would this work via bluetooth with a Playstation 3?

Yes, it will. You don't need a receiver if you're using Bluetooth peripherals. That's the good thing about them since they don't use up your USB ports. I paired my Dell Bluetooth Travel Mouse with the built-in Bluetooth minicard of my laptop and it works fine.

Thanks for the information. Could it be that that was also because it was a Dell mouse? Don't get me wrong believe you , and I do know a bit about how bluetooth works, I've just read in a few places about how the bluetooth stack controllers in some laptops do not recognise certain devices... I don't know enough about it to fully understand it though.

It will most probably work. Havent had much issues with BT compatibility.

Even though you can just update the BT stack or change it.
