    Midnight Blue VS Black Matte Pictures!!!

    My Midnight Blue 1720 just came in today. I took some pictures of the cover. I am returning the black matte 1720. I took some last min pics before i sent it off too dell. I had filtered out the good pics and put them in a different folder, Which accidently got formatted. So these are just what was left on the camera. Kinda gives you the idea though.

    I like the Midnight Blue a lot more, it feels so smooth :D

    Whats alittle wird is The screen on the black 1720 was a SEC but the screen i got with the midnight blue is LPLE400, Both LCDs looked great!

    Midnight Blue looks way better IMO. But if I had to choose out of all the colours i would choose these 2.

    The midnight blue also feels different...its um more soft/smooth. With the matte i hated getting fingerprints, i love the Blue =).The color of the blue seems to change intensity depending on the lighting conditions which i think is kinda cool.

    i still wish i ordered the blue and a 1720 instead on the 1520... god i want to cancel so bad and re-order but dell's prices have gone way up since then

    When i bought my blue 1520, colors cost the same as the black. Dunno how much they're charging now but the softer feel, resistance to fingerprints, and resistance to scratches are definately worth paying more. Its just a matter of how much more.

    Well its all cosmetic...and the other colors do hide fingerprints well. The matte gets fingerprinted as soon as you touch it. I mean you could wipe it off easily enough. But the Blue looks like no matter what =) in my opinion i think its well worth it.

    if they offer any coupons soon ill still send back my 1520 no question and get me a 1720 or a 1700.. i love the blue as i said before..
