I just recieved my Dell Inspiron Mini 10 in Jade Green. I ordered it from the outlet store for the great price of $340 + shipping. The system would have cost me $489 to build. Specs follow...

Intel Atom Z530 @ 1.6 GHz with 533 MHz FSB
    1GB DDR2 RAM @ 533 MHz
    160GB Hard drive @ 5400 rpm
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 500
    10.1" LED LCD 1024 x 576
    Jade Green
Windows XP Home Edition with SP3
    Dell wireless 1397 b/g
    1.3 Megapixel Webcam
    24 WHr Lithiom-Ion 3-cell battery

As I took the Mini 10 out of the box I was suprised and pleased. In all the pictures I've seen of the Mini 10 in Jade green on the Dell site it's looked very tacky to me. This is a very nice matallic lime green. It's very similar to the lime green avalible on VolksWagen New Beetles.

The system seems slower than my Acer Aspire One, from my memory. I have not run any tests on it yet. I will compare them more thoroughly when I have my Aspire One back in my possession. This could be due to all the bloatware that is on it or possibly just that it is in fact, slower.

The keyboard has been great so far. Compared to my Gateway's it's a bit tight, but the Gateway is a 15.4". The Mini 10 is the first systems I've typed on with flat keys and so far it's a little odd, but alright all the same.

The touchpad is going to take some getting used to. It's similar to the Unibody MacBook's but in a PC way, with two keys.

If anybody could tell me what I can do, should do to write a full review please do tell me. I'd Love to write up a nice lengthy version of this with all the standard tests and such included. Please PM me if you know what I can do to make one!! :D :)

What do you mean by "compressed"? I feel a little dumb... It is 149GB, NTFS in a single partition.

Would I write the review and then PM to a administrator or moderator?

Never mind, that was a Mini 9 ssd problem. Dell compressed it to make it take up less space on the ssd, doubt they did that for the Mini 10.

The Z series is built for low power consumption above all.
The N series is built for a mix of power consumption and CPU power.
