What day did you order your computer? There isn't a "Coupon" you register online
-
If you ordered a new system (not outlet) on or after 6/26/09 with Vista Home Premium or higher you should qualify for the free upgrade. Wait a few days after you receive your system so it gets logged into their systems and register at http://win7.dell.com/
If you ordered Vista Basic or an outlet system, then you'll just need to wait until the upgrade hits the retail outlets and see what the prices are. If you have access to academic discounts or university volume licensing programs you may have discount options there as well. -
Get a free copy of windows 7 by preordering two of them for 50 bucks each then sell one copy on ebay when the price goes back to 120 bucks.

No longer available for $50. -
Haha...I got two copies on the $50 deal literally an hour before it expired.
Unfortunately, if you bought your system prior to the free upgrade deadline, then there's really not much choice. It's extremely unlikely that Microsoft will offer the upgrade for $50 again (it's currently $120), and third party vendors do not usually discount Windows. -
Wow thanks for laughing at me... anyway guess I will find another way to get windows 7..... i mean if i gotta pay $199 that sucks so guess i will be purcashing another computer. at least that way the money is gonna be towards a system.

The Home Premium upgrade is $120, not $199. What day did you order your system?
