I re-formatted windows xp and i seem to be missing some drivers. The drivers im missing are the PCI device, andSM Bus Controller drives. All the others are working fine. If anybody knows where these drivers are located it would be greatly appreciated. :)

Ummm... the make and model of your notebook might be helpful. If you do a little searching though, they should be right there on dells site, and you should be able to download directly from them...

I always get the SM Bus driver missing. It should be installed by the chipset drivers, but it never seems to work on my system. Even re-installing them doesn't do it. I saved the folder with this driver off another installation - that's how I got around it. This was discussed before here so do a search on this site and you'll get the answer

The PCI is the modem more than likely.

Make sure these drivers are installed:

    system software
    mobile chipset

The drivers that are easy to forget are the ricoh card reader and the modem drivers. Device manager has no clue on these and will label them 'pci device' until drivers are installed.
