I did a clean install yesterday, and after opening up my device manager there is an exclamation point in the category "Other Devices" under "Ethernet Controller." I attempted to reinstall the driver, but it couldn't find one. I'm on a wireless network right now, so I haven't tested my ethernet port yet.

Is it important that I have a driver for it? And if so, where would I find it?

DL this driver: R113310.EXE at Dell. I'm assuming you have a E1705/1505, you don't say.

My bad, I forgot to mention it was an e1705. That fixed it, thanks.
