I have just seen the online packing list from my warranty replacement M1210 and despite a free upgrade on the processor & hard drive I no longer have either the Bluetooth or dedicated graphics card (go 7300) that i had on my original specification.

I will speak to them later (at work at the mo) but what do you think they will do? Will it just be an engineer visit or will another unit have to be made?

If it is a warranty replacement, then they should send you an exact replacement or a better one. Processor upgrade is good, but I wouldn’t trade it for a GPU.

To upgrade the graphics card, a motherboard replacement is needed. But that can be done by any service technician. Call them, they will either send a technician or another unit.
