I was watching rmvb movie with QVOD player online. Suddenly, the screen started to fading out white and repeated echo sound. I thought I got a virus rmvb file that was erasing my HD. I quickly power off notebook. When I power on, AVAST didn't detect anything at all from rmvb or any files. Rmvb played ok the second time around. Did this happened to any of you? What is your guess on this?

Does anyone know which one or two programs dell use to remote into our notebook? And how to remove all these programs?

My notebook will be flying with me for the first time. Does anyone have
bad experience from X Ray Machine at airport erasing HD?

    Thank you very much.
