Mobile Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD is really bad?

wen i bought my studio 15 i go the Mobile Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD for my gpu cuz i dont do any serious gaming... anyways i play this korean fps game and looked at the requirements and thought i would be ok, but i cant run it. the system requirements for the game is pentium 3-800 mhz for cpu, for the graphics its atleast 32 mb, and the ram is 256mb. i mean my like 5+ year old desktop ran it and how come my studio 15 cant run it. i d/l and wat ur suppose to do is log in at the web browser at ie, then click the server and loads the game. after it loads and its about to enter it, the screen just turns black, and stays there.

and the specs on my studio is a
c2d p8400,3gigs of ram, and that gpu. i have it on performance mode cuz im plugged in.

WEI scores are not accurate measures of actual performance. Just take the test again and you will probably see a score increase. Also try getting the latest drivers for the card.

But yes the 4500 MHD really is not that great of a card.

 

wait do u think its cuz of the gpu or is it cuz its korean? i didnt have a problem on with with xp and the website is suddenattack.netmarble.net for the game and everything looks fine too...

 

Intel's GPUs tend to be designed with a lower power consumption in mind, rather than performance. As such, it generally does not perform well in most recent 3D games, if it manages to run them at all; Intel's GPUs tend to run into trouble in the compatibility department as well.

However, it can still run older games such as WOW fairly well; do you get any error message when you try to run it?

I would say you need to install the proper driver. My ATI HD3450 came up like that in Win7 before I installed the proper driver for it.

 

There is something wrong with your drivers, try installing the latest ones available on Intel's website.

 

Yeah, I agree, there's no way your Graphics score should be 1.0. It's probably a driver problem.

 

lol yeah i got taht fixed haha i didnt have the chipset and video drivers... it plays it now tho thx alot guys

it also plays it very well too, i guess its not that much of a stressign game
