    Hi,

I've reinstalled Vista HP with plain system. I've installed everything without any problems and everything seems to be working correctly.

But my mobile software is saying :
"sim card not found check orientation"

I'm pretty sure, that it was ok...
I don't use mobile internet yet ( i've got my laptop for few days ) but I don't like that kind of messages :D

I've tried to put my mobile phone sim card ( an active one ) but the software was still saying same msg :(

Have you got any idea what can you do to test if the modem is working properly? Any software which can help?

    Thanks for any help

Tbh i would take it back to vodafone and let them test it, if it is still in warrenty then they will help. and if it turns out to be the faulty modem u will then get a replacement, if the sim cards u tried work in mobile phones then its obv the modem
