    Hi, to everyone.

    Just wandering which is better for a Laptop?
    Mobile with HT or just Pentium 4 with HT?

    which is better for performance?
    I heard that Mobile Processors isn't so good when it is not plug in to electricity! is this true?

    Thanks to you all..
    Hope you guys can give me some info.

    The answer your question about performance; yes, the Mobile variant of the P4 has SpeedStep which will throttle the clockspeed of the CPU when on battery. But this only happens when:
    a) SpeedStep is enabled in the BIOS
    b) Your CPU usage is low. When your CPU usage increases, the clockspeed is automatically increased to handle the demands placed on it.

    If you want raw power and don't really care about mobility, then the desktop version of the P4 is the way to go. If you wish to be somewhat mobile, go for the mobile P4.
