    Just curious:

If I ordered a Studio XPS 16 yesterday and I want to change some parts on it, I can just call Dell up and request that right?

Once your order is *in place*, and you have a Order Number, etc. Any changes made to your lappy will usually cause your current order to be *canceled* and a new one made.

The only thing that will basically not cause a cancellation, would be something like an upgrade in shipping.

yes, you can call anytime before it leaves the facility, that is, shipping.

Luke, for clarification...You can usually change the shipping (upgrade), if a Rep does this for you.

Any and all other changes..once you have an order number, will cause your order to be canceled, and you will have to create a *new one*.

Even, when a Dell Rep contacts you stating they have to make a change to your order...it is considered a *refresh* thus resulting in a fresh order, with a new order number.
