    Hey guys,

Sometimes when my computer is in hibernate mode and I open the lid back up and hit the power button, the monitor does not turn on. I have tried to press "fn crt/lcd" because I thought that it may have been because the computer thought there was another monitor connected but that did not work. I also tried closing the lid again so it should go back to hibernate mode but the computer stays on. To get my monitor to turn on, I hold the power button to turn off the computer without shutting it down properly. When it reboots the monitor works again.

It may or may not happen more when I close the lid with mutliple applications running. Would this affect it?

    Dell Inspiron 6400

    Thanks very much
