    Monitor will NOT shut off when lid closed...

    is this normal ... i remember all my previous laptop will automatically turn off the monitor when the lid is closed... if this is not normal... what should i do? >_< I reinstalled my computer... and so is there a specific driver for the monitor?

    What kind of laptop is it?

    Is it new or used?

    What Operating system does it use?

    Actually... It fixed itself by going back to the OEM Drivers instead of the modded Forcewares :x

    There should be an option to change this in the control panel. If you're using vista then go into the power management menu, and on the left side of the window it should say "choose what closing the lid does". This should be easier than switching drivers :)
