    Montevina on DELL Studio/Inspiron Laptops?

    Okay, so this has been bugging me, I am waiting for Montevina to come out on the DELL Studio/Inspiron laptop line. Does ANYONE have any information or sources to confirm if DELL will be doing Montevina on the Studio 15 and 17 and what specs it might have? Nvidia to me seems the way to go for graphics.

    HP already has their DV5t and DV7t Montevina ready for customization, what's with Dell saying nothing about it nor putting anything out for us?

    I like DELL's Studio line, and it made no sense to release it this early when Montevina just hit. ANY info would help with source(s).

    Is DELL always late to the game with updates?

    Oh yeah, what was coming in August from Intel to make Montevina better and is it better to wait it out longer?

    i'm waiting for the new xps 1730 to come out with theres also
    i just hope that they keeep the 8800m gtxx sli instead of adding the 9800m gt and gtx

    u shuld wait if u can cuz then nvidia card might come on studio hopfully and so will montevina i think wat ur talking about is Nehlum tht will make it better

    Im afraid DELL will jump to Centrino 2 in 2029 :D ... maybe - if everything goes right we can expect new laptops in 2010 :D ...


    Im waiting for Centrino 2 too , because there is not any good deal for old laptops in UK . :-/

    I hate it when people type in that stupid abbreviated way. A few words I understand but abbreviating what to wht just pisses me off and make me not want to continue reading.

    I believe Dell will be releasing montevina next month (just guessing). If you look at the drivers for the Studio 15, you can see some drivers for Centrino 2 platform are available. That means there is progress on Centrino 2. And probably will be released very soon.
