Called them this morning after getting an apology of their Sales Director for their sales guys telling me the Vostro was crap.

Systems were being updated so arranged a call back. unfortunatley i was in a meeting and missed the call back.

Called them asking for the extention number and the girl i spoke to said she would quote me instead... and so my mind started ticking.

got a quote of her and she refused to haggle on price, got her to send me a quote and gave her my address etc.

Then called back and asked to speak to the original guy and told him i asked for him etc but she went ahead and quoted me.

So he went and had a word told me he had to wait 2 days before he could quote me etc, which i pretended to accept begrudgingly. so he said he would apply some discounts for the inconvience when he call me on sunday!

    Result :D

If you want to save a few bucks, order it with the minimum possible memory. Then order memory and install it yourself.

Negotiate. Tell him you'll drop the extra memory but want an upgraded WiFi card and an extra year of warranty. :) You'll prob get one of those.
