I have 2 questions. First while playing a dvd the volume seems to be to low even though the volume is all the way up in the volume properties and the dvd player. Is there Is there somewhere else to look to increase the volume all the way up or something. Also the Fn+f8 key when pressed only changes lcd display right? i was running a movie and pressed it and it moved the movie to my other monitor, pressed again and it moved it to both monitors at the same time, pressed again it moved it back to my laptop monitor. Thats all it does right, it dosent change any other settings. ok thanks bye

you are correct about Fn F8, it only changes the LCD display...

As for volume...you tried going to audio/sound devices in Windows Control Panel, and turned everything up?

Does your computer have a Fn key for volume? Is that all the way up?

If you've tried all that, that that's the best you are going to get unless you attached some powered speakers to your laptop. Unfortuantely, I don't think Dell makes very good speakers unless you have a 9100 or XPS. That's just my opinion
