    Cool. It has the Lenovo IdeaPad hinges. I must say though, it looks very nice. Dell seems to be improving on their notebook designs pretty rapidly.

    yeah, but how would the xps line be there then. i don't want to but a ugly alien head laptop! i want ma xps m1535 witha tricked out 9700m gt gp and a p9500 processor at 2.53 ghz! not some crap x4500 gpu. it isn't bad but i want to be able to pla some games on it. my desktop currently sucks.can't rly upgrade. psu problems and such.

    It looks nice and if the quality & latest components/features are just like the XPS line, then maybe it would be ok for the Studio line to replace the XPS line. If the XPS line remains, then I'll get the M1535/40/50. Dell's designs are definitely improving.

    some other sites are speculating that the laptop XPS series will no longer be continued all together with Inspiron on low end, Dell Studio on mid, and Alienware on high end.
