i was going through the dell outlet checkout and a question is:
Q4. Will the product(s) be used in connection with weapons of mass destruction, i.e. nuclear applications, missile technology, or chemical or biological weapons purposes?
Yes No
haha, now people would yes yes to that if they were wouldnt they....
-
ROFLEMAO
Maybe if they had this question asked a few years ago we could have stopped Sadam -
-
If that was funny, sample this...
"Have you ever been arrested of convicted for any offense or crime, even through subject of a pardon, amnesty or other similar legal action? Have you ever unlawfully distributed or sold a controlled substance (drug), or been a prostitute or procurer for prostitutes?
[...]
Did you seek to enter the United States to engage in export control violations, subversive or terrorist activities, or any other unlawful purpose? Are you a member or representative of a terrorist organization as currently designated by the U.S. Secretary of State? Have you ever participated in persecutions directed by the Nazi government or Germany; or have you ever participated in genocide?"

This is from the US VISA application form.... and there are similar in immigration forms too!! and not to forget the questions they actually ask in the immigration counter while entering US!!! Anyways...
And even I had to sign a declaration form here while paying for my laptop here with Dell... -
What is Dell doing is backing up their asses, they are trying to avoid any weapon or bomb creation with the computer, therefore if you say that you will use it they will not sell it to you.

It reminds me of my sister's neighbor, who was on a business trip and decided to be a smart *** when they ask if anyone has asked you to carry a bag on the plane for them. He spent some time in FBI custody for that stunt.

Yeah I bought my dell m1330 in usa, also Ill mass produce nuclear bombs with it to attack the american athletes in China with my $1000 million nuclear silo.
**** it.... I wasted too much money on the silo, thats why I couldnt get the SSD and t9500 options.

but if someone was making weapons, they wouldny answer yes, would they?
i know those terrorists are very stupid by blowing themselves up for no reason but.... -
That's like being at the post office to mail off something, and being asked "are you transporting any hazardous biological or chemical agents"? Seriously I wanted to let my sarcastic side take over, but don't want to get into trouble.
It's just stupid. Of course if anyone attempted to, they wouldn't say it!! It's just dumb, why even bother asking?
But that Dell question just takes the cake. I guess we can thank our new partners in the intelligence community, Dell, for helping protect us!!
Watch out or the Dell suits will come knocking on your door!! -
i just couldnt stop laughing when i first saw that, the has to be one of the funniest questions ever. well you cant blame dell questions for being boring.
Most funny dell outlet question ever!
