    According to Dell my laptop wasn't supposed to ship until 8/1. Friday night my laptop was "in production". Sunday morning I check my e-mail and it has shipped. 10 days early! Woot!


    1.8 Santa Rosa
    2GB Ram
    160GB HD
    256MB 8600GT
    15.4" 1440x900 glossy

    I hope there are no problems with it (headphone jack, horrible screen, won't work at all, etc.). Now to get my $100 credit for the DDR2 video card.

    Mine wasn't supposed to arrive until Aug 13. On Friday the est ship date was July 30th. I find out today It shipped yesterday!

    Hope that means they got a nice infusion of quality parts.
