    So I just got back and applied my Iron Maiden skin to my black 1720 Dell notebook

    I got 2 skins (one for future use) from Skinit.com. Great company, with fast service, great printing quality and good customer support.

    when you get it does it come cut like for that top piece of the lettering? or did you do that yourself.

    also was the dell logo precut?

    It's cut like that from factory.

    There is a separate piece for the tab portion of the LID (about 2" wide), and I chose the letters to be half and half like that.

    They have many styles available, but they also allow images to be uploaded and modified to one's taste.

    The Dell logo is also pre-cut.

    There really isn't much to it. Just peel off and apply!

    THANK YOU.. for so long I've been waiting for people to post pictures on how these look on the machine.. +rep x99999.. lol...

    My only complaint is I don't to happy with the way the edges meet the laptop casing, but I'm a perfectionist..

    my only problem is the fact it doesn't cover the logo. I wanted to get my GF the batman logo on the centre of hers, but the big silver DELL logo would make it look insane.

    That's pretty amazing, can't wait until they make skins available specifically for the 1530. (The led zeppelin ones look phenomenal :eek:)
