So I've had my I600 for 4 months now, and I've loved it. Problem is my AC adapter just went weird on me. I unplugged it from it's outlet and when I plugged it back in the green light on the adapter didn't light up. I've tried several different outlets and none work.

So i tried one more time and voila! It worked. Green light. So to test to see if it was fixed I unplugged it and then replugged it back in and then it wouldn't work. Thing is when it did work I got to see a spark when it went into the outlet, when it doesn't there's no spark, it's like it's not even getting power from the outlet. Is the adapter bad just out of no where? and how can it still work and show a spark if it is bad?

MY first advise would be to call dell technical support and get that ac adapter replaced, since it might cause serious damage to your system. You only have to state that the ac adapter doesn't have a steady green light. They would replace it no problem.

No, i had ac adapter failure after nine months of it working. Just tell them that the green light doesnt come on the ac adapter. You will get a new adapter within 3 days.

Well, you have to learn the magic words in order to get things replaced. In this case, you have an easy one, just tell them that the AC Adapter doesn't have an steady green light and you have tried on several different known good outlets and still no go.
