    Hi all, Im on the brink of ordering my Notebook and ive got Dell, 9400(E1705) So how do poeple think;

    # 1.66ghz CPU Core 2 Duo
    # 1 GIG DDR Memory
    # 160 GB Hard Drive (5400RPM)
    # Vista Premium
    # RADEONĀ® X1400 graphics card
    # 6 Cell Battery

    This is just on my budget, how would poeple with around the same package think of the Media use of it? Playing Dvds and games such as Company of heroes and Battlefield 2.

    -Also does The 9400 allow to change graphics card?

    The graphics card is not replaceable. Did you use the Dell coupons. The 9400 can be configured with a Go7900, which will play all games out there.

    Actually, the graphics card in a e1705/9400 IS upgradable, as long as you didn't get integrated graphics to begin with. The X1400, 7900 GS, 7900 GTX, and 7950 GTX will all fit and work in a E1705, and there are guides here and at notebookforums.com to show you how to do it. For the 7900 GTX, 7950 GTX, and a dual pipe 7900 GS, you will need to make a small cut in the plastic inside your case.
