I recently got a "$100 off your next online purchase" coupon and since i couldnt use it on my laptop that i ordered, because it had a promotional offer, im thinking of using it to buy accessories like a mouse and other stuff...but when i add the things to my cart and then add the coupon on, it says this:
    Coupons Entered
The following coupons have been entered but require additional information or do not meet eligibility requirements. Click "View Details" link(s) for more information.

    $100 Off Select Purchases
Expires October 31, 2006 Details Remove Coupon

and when i click to "details", it says this:

Congratulations! You have qualified for a $100 savings with your online purchase.

    Expires October 31, 2006

Promotional offer available with eligible online purchase between now and October 31 2006. Eligible amounts are calculated on prices before shipping and applicable taxes. Prices and specifications valid in Canada only and subject to error and change without notice. Not combinable with volume or other discounts or other promotional offers. Dell reserves the right to limit quantities to one (1) offer per peripheral, five (5) peripherals per customer.

anybody know what an "eligible online purchase" would be? cause even for the things without an offer on it like a moniter, it still doesnt work...

this is from the canadian site cause im in canada, so has anybody else had this problem? if so, what should i do?

Are you using it on the right Dell website? Maybe you're using it on the US site or the Canadian site when it's supposed to be used on the Canadian or US site ONLY.

    Either one...?

And you're sure it can't be used for Dell Home USA? That sucks, because if it could be used I would definitely take it right now.
